Gumdrop Character Archives
A downloadable asset pack
This page holds several older versions of Gumdrop Galaxy characters
It was deprecated in Summer 2022, but remains available as a courtesy to the handful of users who purchased it while there was a required price
aseprite files on this page weren't organized for a public release, but contain several gems if you're willing to dig for them.
Here are the newer releases:
Both of the character template assets come prepared in popular retro palettes. Version 2 features a 3 hit combo, two walk and idle stances, and a slightly larger and more lithely sprite. Version 1 keeps it simpler and though its not getting updates anymore its great for prototyping top-down pixel action games.
The Gumdrop Ninja is a costume on the Version 2 template. It has features for easy use with Unity, Godot, and Aseprite
Finally the latest release - includes many updated sprite sheets, but the main feature is the source aseprite file and scripted pipeline features. Essentially this is both a source file and a character generator for aseprite users

Human samples are good.
Is it okay to use human sample sprites for business purposes?
